Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – In the second half of the week, the weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland is changeable. From the Saarland to the Upper Rhine it will be bright on Thursday, otherwise mostly cloudy, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach. Temperatures of up to 25 degrees can be reached. In the night of Friday, the clouds thicken and heavy rain is expected in both countries.

On Friday the rain clouds will move eastwards, after which it will remain largely dry, according to the DWD forecast. With maximum values ​​of up to 24 degrees, a moderate wind blows, sometimes stronger gusts are possible. The weather will also be cloudy and free of rain on Saturday. According to the DWD forecast, however, it will be cloudy again on Sunday, in addition to rain showers then also thunderstorms are expected.
