Weather in Puebla: Rains announced by tropical storm Celia

Cloudy skies and rains will remain in much of the state of Puebla will persist for the next few hours, reported Ana Lucía Hil Mayoral, head of the state Ministry of the Interior (Segob).

The official explained that this phenomenon is due to the fact that a low pressure channel was located over the entity, which is interacting with the tropical storm ‘Celia’ and that it will cause rains in municipalities of the North, Northeast and Black mountain ranges.

Faced with such a situation, Hill Mayoral urged the population to be aware and heed the recommendations of the authorities of Civil Protection, since the appearance of accidents caused by rainfall is latent.

Proof of this is that in the last 24 hours two landslides and rocks were reported on the roads that connect to Zacapoaxtla with Xochiapulco, as well as from Tetela de Ocampo to Zacapoaxtla.

The Segob established that in both cases there was no record of injured persons or affected homes; In addition, both roads have already been taken care of and are open to traffic.
