In the short term, the metropolis is expected to experience afternoon thunderstorms and light rain in the evening, with clouds. Precipitation is expected to decrease overnight and continue through Saturday evening. For the day of Saturday, we announce “cloudy with showers”.

Otherwise, for the rest of Quebec, another low pressure system should be monitored, whileup to 50 centimeters of snow are expected by Monday for eastern and central Quebec.

Always according to Weather Network, two important systems should “bring back winter” in the coming days.

A first system from Texas will sweep across Quebec this Friday, March 26, leaving behind rain for most regions, but good amounts of snow for the eastern part of the province; between 20 and 30 centimeters of snow are to be expected.

A second system will then be imposed on the province, bringing with it additional quantities of snow that have not yet been determined, but a second sheath remains possible for the regions of Bas-Saint-Laurent, Côte-Nord and of the Gaspé. Moreover, this one should be the most affected region, and about 50 centimeters of snow are expected there. Some forecasts would even indicate up to 70 centimeters in places.

In short, get out your shovels and your umbrella, since we are expecting a lot of precipitation in the coming days!
