Singer Yulia Proskuryakova has been married to the master of the national stage Igor Nikolaev for 12 years. And she still cannot get rid of the criticism that falls on her head from time to time. Julia is still being compared with her predecessor, Natasha Koroleva. Proskuryakova, who is 22 years younger than her husband, is suspected of self-interest. After marrying Nikolaev, her third wife, in addition to singing, she began acting in films and she is not going to give up this occupation.

Appeared with the voices in the room
Today Julia is already over 40 years old. In the life of Igor Yuryevich, she appeared years after the composer and his former muse Natasha Koroleva finally fled in different directions.
Unlike Koroleva, Proskuryakova still considered creativity for a long time to be a hobby, and not a matter of life. As a teenager, she was engaged in amateur show business, she was noticed at competitions, but after school she went to study at the Ural State Law Academy.
Nikolaev’s acquaintance took place in Yulia’s homeland in Yekaterinburg. During the musician’s tour, the girl attacked Igor at the service entrance: “I would like to sing you a song about love.” Proskuryakova really decided to show the author’s composition to her.
They decided to listen to recordings from the disc of the brave provincial in Nikolaev’s room. Julia claims that she came there with her friend, away from sin. The conversation lasted until morning.
At first, Igor became for the girl something like an older comrade, a mentor. But the relationship developed. Fans had no doubts when Nikolaev and Proskuryakova in 2008 performed the duet “There is something inside” on the New Wave.
“Waiting and Praying”
They went to the registry office in 2010. It was a real wedding. The spouses did not just sign without much celebration, as was the case with Nikolaev and Natasha Koroleva. The singer still recalls this fact with resentment.
”When she forcefully asked about the children, I did not understand:“ What kind of children? I myself was still a child, ”the Queen spoke about her first husband and her first marriage. But Proskuryakova really wanted to give birth, but it still didn’t work out. Julia even went to the Matrona of Moscow for help.
It took five years to wait for such a desired pregnancy. “We waited and prayed. No radical medical measures were taken. And, as it turned out, they did the right thing: when we relaxed, everything happened. I think God gives a child to every couple when it’s needed. We are used to it. Igor began to perceive me as a creative person, ”says Proskuryakova.
“We were terribly scared”
The long-awaited daughter Veronica appeared to the newlyweds seven years ago and shook her parents’ nerves. The girl could not please them with good health. The baby’s lungs did not fully open, she periodically choked. “We were terribly scared,” admitted the star couple.
Fortunately, all problems were fixable. Veronica is becoming very intelligent and active. From an early age she showed an aptitude for both music and foreign languages, tennis.
Periodic rumors that the spouses are on the verge of divorce, Yulia denies: “Have I ever thought about leaving? No. We are very comfortable with each other.”
In 2012, Proskuryakova made her debut as a film actress – she played a major role in the Provincial Muse melodrama. Nikolaev’s wife periodically goes to the set to this day.
In 2023, viewers will see her in two new films – the police melodrama Anka from Moldavanka. Five years later ”and the comedy“ Father’s Day ”. Recently, Yulia received another education: this year she graduated from the directing department of GITIS.
