– There is a lot of truth in the statement that the Church in Poland is the last one on our old continent, where the struggle is still going on. We have not hung the white flag yet, we have not given up, we have not decided that we need to listen to the world. And we will not hang it, we will not give up – said Archbishop Marek Jędraszewski in an interview for the latest issue of “Sieci”. The clergyman also shared his reflections on the use of psychologists.

– I think that one of the reasons why the churches in Western Europe have become deserted is because they believed in psychoanalysis, and not in the grace of forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God. For me, it is a paradox that a person is ready to reveal to a psychotherapist the most often dark layers of his personality, and on the other hand, he believes that using the sacrament of penance and reconciliation is much more difficult, and above all it offends his dignity – said Archbishop Jędraszewski.
