With this video I am deciding to raise my voice, not to remain silent, I was silent for a long time because of the fear of what they will say and that fear, that terror of what they will say, made me endure a lot of violence, ”said Yael Andrea Reyes Ramírez.
Today I recognize that I am a victim of physical and psychological violence by my ex-partner, who has easy access to weapons, is armed and threatened with death, ”added the young woman.
Andrea He decided to arm himself with courage and make public, through social networks, his situation in order to get out of a circle of violence that he lived with his ex-partner.
I already had three investigation folders against him that, out of fear, for many things I didn’t follow them anymore, but the time came, I got fed up and I don’t want to live with more violence anymore, it’s not pretty, you can’t go out to the street, I was already very tired, these people who judge do not know what is happening because it is hell. The moment I decided was when this boy hit me, at this moment, everything stopped me and I said he can’t go on like this one day he will kill you, ”said Andrea.
I like it, I admire it because it had the courage to do what I had to do for a long time, if we knew it, it hurt us to not be able to do anything, because here the only one I had to stop was her and at the time I said enough, there we are to support her, ”said María Elena Almanza Hernández, Andrea’s grandmother.
The young woman is 24 years old, she decided to end with David, a merchant of Tepito 29 years old, after four years of a relationship in which they ended and returned.

The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City reported, in relation to the complaint of threats made by the young woman, through the Prosecutor’s Office in Family Courts, which is already given legal and psychological support, as well as the necessary accompaniment to the victim.
Also, the young woman thanked in her social networks for the support and as well as the dissemination of the video, which served for the capital authorities to address her case. In addition, Andrea urged more women not to remain silent and report any situation of violence.
