Incidence rate and screening
First figure given, that of the incidence rate shows 332 (cases per 100,000 inhabitants) in Moselle and 323 in Metz Métropole. 11,700 injections over the Easter weekend
Since the start of the vaccination campaign, 253,000 injections have been carried out in Moselle on 181,000 different people. This represents 17.5% of the population, 66% of whom are over 75 years old. “Just over the Easter weekend, the vaccination centers deployed on the territory carried out 11,700 injections”, specifies the prefect when Marie-Odile Saillard, director of the CHR of Metz-Thionville, wonders about the fact to know “who else can take care of the vaccination”, apart from the necessary staff at the bedside?

Additional armament level envisaged
Faced with the tension on the open beds in the hospital, Marie-Odile Saillard confided that “the prospect of a move to a higher level of armament” was being considered. Concretely, this would switch the Moselle from level 3 to 4 and “would be carried out in two stages”, confides the director of CHR Metz-Thionville. National education and organization
