“We are made to laugh together!”

While he still appears in “Mask Singer” on TF1, Jarry revealed the springs of popular entertainment that he will soon embody on France 2, “Le Big Show”. A compendium of surprises, jokes, jokes, delusions and games assembled by a tightrope walker who has become a master in the management of emotions that federate.

Jarry winds up his Tintin-style powder puff before going on stage to present France 2’s new entertainment, “Le Big Show”, a name borrowed from its original British format, which is difficult to translate: “Le gros spectacle” does not make you want to and ” The big show” is already taken! The comedian takes his public service mission very seriously, which Alexandra Redde, director of entertainment and games at France Télévisions, summarizes as follows: “It’s about putting people back at the center of the show, getting back to basics by putting the spotlight on viewers”. A mechanism that this king of stand-up has mastered at his fingertips, playing the cursor between laughter and tears: “The viewers are the heroes and anything can happen,” he promises. “‘The Big Show’ is a vaccine against gloom, the craziest show in public service because we are made to laugh together!”.

Have fun with generosity

The show, which is intended to be family and good-natured, conveys values against homophony, grossophobia, finally all phobias to be avoided for living well together. Jarry does not try to hide his wonders of youth in front of “L’École des fans” or “Sacred Evening” which he watched in secret from his nanny. In “Le Big Show”, there is Jacques Martin, Jean-Pierre Foucault but also Marcel Beliveau (“Surprise on Take”) and sequences worthy of “The Hidden Camera”. The atmosphere is that multiplied by televised games since the show is prepared by about sixty people, and lasts no less than 2 hours. Propelled by a rocket among the viewers, Jarry makes all the vintage influences his own but aggregates them with a resolutely modern presentation, with a very cheerful tone, authentically close to the “real people”, these golden viewers who only ask to be to amaze, to be enthusiastic and to have fun with generosity.

With the complicity of friends and family members, spectators find themselves at the heart of schoolboy jokes, hidden cameras but also moving surprises…

Laëtitia Milot accompanied by her mother is the moved, amused and flabbergasted godmother of the first show. Amir takes care of the karaoke part (Amir-oké) and attends with good-naturedness the massacre of his songs! With the complicity of friends and members of their family, spectators find themselves at the heart of schoolboy jokes, hidden cameras but also moving surprises such as family reunions… A sequence entitled “The unexpected star” also reveals to the great day the talent of a complete stranger. Gifts finally make the absolute happiness of modest viewers. Two shows have already been filmed at the Marigny theatre. We wish them the success of the original “Big Show”, that of Michael McIntyre which attracts more than 7 million viewers on the BBC.
