watchOS 7 enrolled in Apple’s beta software program

The most experienced users who have to sacrifice an Apple Watch can subscribe to the Apple beta software program. The manufacturer indeed integrates watchOS 7 into this program, a first since its implementation in 2015 (it involved testing iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan).

The news was announced during the WWDC inaugural keynote, but perhaps the information went a little under the radar. To install this public beta of watchOS 7, you will also (probably?) Install the beta of iOS 14 on the companion iPhone.

Since the start of this program, Apple has offered those who like to get their hands dirty – but who are not developers – to test in advance the updates of its operating systems: iOS, iPadOS, macOS as well as tvOS which was added to the lot a few years ago.

For the more intrepid, this will be an opportunity to play around with the new features in watchOS 7: the sleep tracking, the function of hand washing, the more nervous interface, and also… the abandonment of Force Touch ????. And everything else ! Apple has promised the delivery of the first public beta for the month of July: we are there, and given the stability of the different OSes, availability should not be long.
