Waskita earns IDR 200 billion by selling Semarang-Batang toll road

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk managed to make a profit of IDR 200 billion through its subsidiary, PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR extension) which successfully completed the final stages of a series of corporate actions in PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (acc).

This was marked by the signing of the deed of sale and purchase (AJB extension) or Sales Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the sale of 39.77%. buffer stock JSB to Kings Bless Limited (KBL), a subsidiary of Road King Expressway (RKE) on 5 December 2022.

This set of transaction patterns begins with execution buy Backwards 39.77% equity ownership owned by PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) and SAM Jalan Limited Participation Mutual Funds Tol (RDPT SAM-JT) which ended on November 30, 2022.

The Semarang-Batang toll road transaction is not the first to be done with a subsidiary of RKE.

Previously, in 2019, WTR sold its ownership interest in Solo-Ngawi Toll Road and Ngawi-Kertosono Toll Road to Kings Key Limited for a total of proceed worth about IDR 1.9 trillion.

Then, the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road (MKTT) to King Rings Limited with proceed worth IDR 824 billion.

Meanwhile, explained PT Finance and Risk Management Director Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk Wiwi Suprihatno, the company is focused on improving its financial performance in the fourth quarter of 2022.

One of them is the transfer of share ownership as a form well
waste sorting which is part of the Waskita Group business process.
