– No one is missing after the fire, even though we do not have complete control over who was in the house when it started to burn, says operations manager in the police Anders Holt.
Witnesses are said to have seen 4-6 people who got out of the apartment when it started to burn.
The police searched with a dog in the neighborhood, and quickly gained control of three people who they linked to the fire.
They were found at a neighbor’s, and are driven to the emergency room for check.
The fire brigade has searched the apartment twice without finding any people.
Both the police and the fire brigade now believe it has been clarified that there were no others in the apartment, and no search is being made for a fourth person.
The fire brigade continues on site to cut through walls and ceilings to get to all the cavities to ensure that nothing flares up again.
Several people have been observed leaving the burning apartment. The police are searching the area with the dog, and now have control of three people who they check have any connection to the fire.

Feared a person was missing
– Two people have gotten out and are receiving health care on the spot, while a person with the registered residence at the address has still not been accounted for, said operations manager in the police in Agder, Knut Odde at 0830.
The emergency services were notified of the fire immediately after seven o’clock on Saturday morning.
The fire is said to have started in an apartment on the second floor, and there were open flames out of the window when the emergency services arrived at the scene.
The building, which contains a shop and several apartments, is located about 500 meters from the fire station in Kristiansand.
The fire gradually spread further inland in the building, but according to the police there should be no danger of it spreading to other buildings in the area.
– We are talking about three apartments in the building, and three people with a registered residential address there, says Odde.
The police on the spot are in the process of questioning witnesses and gathering information that may help to identify the cause of the fire.
