The Call of Duty: Warzone Season Four Reloaded update is out and brings with it the most balance changes in Warzone history.
Raven Software describes the adjustments as a necessary step to adjust the time to kill in Warzone.
“It’s important to note that these adjustments were not done randomly,” Raven wrote. “When you look at each change, some of them seem quite drastic, but these are all designed to provide a slightly longer time to kill across all weapon categories.
“Torso Multipliers have been a big focus of these adjustments as they are quite easily hit by players. Now that these multipliers have been lowered it becomes more important to aim well and we think this is important for the health of the game.”
Raven went on to say that statistically there will always be a “best weapon” as that is inherent in a competitive game. They also say that always try to switch between what is the best weapon.
“Statistically, there will always be a best weapon. That’s how competitive games work,” says Raven. “Players are going to look for every possible advantage, however tiny it may be. We will always make sure that the ‘best weapon’ doesn’t sit on the throne for too long and that it gets stronger as the player gets better.”
In addition to these changes, Season Four Reloaded also brings a host of bug fixes, a new Zombies map in Mauer Der Toten, a new multiplayer map in Rush, new weapons, multiplayer modes, a new operator, a new Warzone mode in Payload and much more.
