Warsaw: Reanimation in front of the polling station

We recorded a dozen or so faints both at polling stations and outside the premises – the spokeswoman of the Provincial Emergency and Emergency Transport Station “Meditrans” Anna Smereka told PAP on Sunday.

A spokeswoman for the Warsaw ambulance said that on Sunday, rescuers had a dozen or so reports about fainting at polling stations and before them on the afternoon – she said.

She indicated that one of the people, an 80-year-old man, fainted and lost consciousness. The man was resuscitated by the emergency medical team – she said.

He was taken to the Emergency Room to the Bielański Hospital in a severe condition, during resuscitation activities she added.

The highest turnout in the presidential election at 12, as far as voivodships were concerned, it was in Mazowieckie and amounted to 26.36 percent, – said on Sunday the chairman of the National Election Commission Sylwester Marciniak.

Marciniak said that the highest turnout was in the province. Mazowieckie and it amounted to 26.36 percent. The second place was taken by the Małopolskie voivodship – 25.32 percent, and the third in terms of turnout is the Podlasie voivodship with a turnout of 25.16 percent.
