Warren Buffett Cuan Up To Rp 244 T Thanks To These 5 Shares

Billionaire wealth Warren Buffett back up. His Berkshire Hathaway company posted a profit of US $ 17 billion or the equivalent of Rp 244.8 trillion (exchange rate of Rp.14,400 / US $) from just five of its shares this year.

Berkshire has also made a profit of US $ 3.7 billion or Rp 53.28 trillion in American Express shares, as shares of the financial services group have surged 30% this year. It also generated US $ 1.5 billion or Rp 21.6 trillion in Kraft Heinz shares.

Then, the US $ 1.4 billion or Rp 20.16 trillion stake also came from General Motors shares, and US $ 1.3 billion or Rp 18.72 trillion from US Bancorp in less than three months.

However, Berkshire’s gains were partially offset by a recent exodus of technology stocks. Apple, which makes up more than 40% of Buffett’s US stock portfolio, has shed 7% this year. The decline has wiped out nearly US $ 8 billion or Rp 115.2 trillion from the value of Berkshire’s shares.

Berkshire has also taken a hit from Coca-Cola, losing an estimated $ 900 million worth of its shares today than it was in early January. The company also dropped around US $ 400 million or Rp 5.76 trillion for Snowflake and Verizon.
