Monday it will also be nice and warm for the time of year: despite the rain and clouds, it can reach 20 degrees locally in Limburg. “But without the sun”, Middendorp is tempering expectations.

The reason it is still so hot now has to do with the warm air from Spain that is coming our way. “The cause is the wind from the south. The temperatures are high, especially for October,” says Middendorp. These warm days are therefore exceptional cases.
It will be a lot cooler on Tuesday. “It will then be around 11 or 12 degrees, with some sun. The same temperatures are expected at the end of next week, with a nice sun and little wind.”
