GINSHEIM-GUSTAVSBURG – A warehouse in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg (Groß-Gerau district) burned brightly early Saturday morning. The fire department is on site with a large contingent, said the police in Darmstadt. According to the initial findings, no injuries were reported. The extinguishing work was complex: “It will take hours,” said a police spokesman. The control center of the Groß-Gerau district reported 200 emergency services.
The cause of the fire is unclear
It was initially unclear how the building in a commercial area could go into “full fire”. According to the district, the roof of the hall collapsed. The smoke has been visible for a long time and there is an odor nuisance in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, Bischofsheim and Rüsselheim. The population was informed about warning apps.
