‘WIL’ tells the story of three young people trying to survive in an occupied city during the Second World War, in 1942. Wil (Aerts) and Lode (Simoni) are two young auxiliary police officers in occupied Antwerp. They are forced to participate in the manhunt for Jews in their city. But at the same time they also support the resistance. And amid all the chaos and violence, love blossoms: Wil falls head over heels for the charms of Lode’s sister Yvette (Crollet). A conflicting cocktail of emotions brings him to the brink of the abyss. Because how do you simultaneously save yourself, your loved ones and the Jews from the clutches of the occupier?
