The perpetrators of the blasphemy of Islam do not understand the history of the Indonesian nation.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) considered that Apollinaris Darmawan’s statement that committed blasphemy against Islam did not understand the history of the Indonesian nation.
According to MUI Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) Nadjamuddin Ramly, people like Apollinaris are very much on social media. He also asked the security apparatus to focus on dealing with such matters.
He added, if this continues, there is a concern that it will cause problems between religious communities.
