show description

While the ZDF show “Bares for Rares” focuses on the candidates and their most valuable rarities, traders are allowed to share a joke from their lives on Instagram in the hope of winning.

Walter ‘Wаldi’ Lehnertz from “Bares for Rares” reveals a personal secret this time. A lot of people wouldn’t have believed him capable of saying what he had to say.

“Bares for Rares”: Wаldi, a ZDF dealer, is not allowed to enter his apartment.

Wаldi, on the other hand, has had some life experiences that he would like to change. The ZDF dealer revealed what happened to him some time ago on his Instagram page “Bares for Rares”. Only so much can be revealed: The 55-year-old was thrown out of the house!

This is “Bares for Rares” star Wаldi:

Walter Heinrich Lehnertz was born on February 9, 1967 in Prüm. Waldi is his nickname. He is an art and antiques dealer. Since the first season in 2013 he has been a dealer in “Bares for Rares”. No matter how the object acts, its “trademark” is a first bid of 80 euros.

“What were you bitchy about?” says Wаldi about “Bares for Rares”.

“I was in church and noticed an old pulpit. “So I knocked hard to see if it was really made of wood,” explains the scrap collector. “That didn’t go down well,” Wаldi continued, “and the pastor said to me: ‘Wаldi, you don’t need to come here anymore.'” In other words, Wаldi was apparently no longer allowed to enter the church. “They were cheeky, to say the least. “I was only curious.”
