The future new government of Serbia will work to speed up the process of joining the European Union, but will continue to maintain its friendship with China and will not be anti-Russian under any circumstances, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told journalists at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport. after a ceremony on the occasion of the resumption of the Beijing-Belgrade airline, RTS reported.
The new government will be a Serbian government that takes care of Serbia’s interests, a government that works for Serbia’s accelerated accession to the European Union, Vucic said. He noted that the government will not be anti-Russian under any circumstances and will preserve traditional friendships.
On July 14, consultations of the president with the political parties on the formation of the new government began in Serbia. For the post of Prime Minister, Vucic has four candidates in mind, among them the current Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and the Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali.
