VSV narrowly won 3-2 against Black Wings Linz in the 16th round of the win2day ICE Hockey League.
While the Adler achieved their sixth win from the last seven games, the Stahlstadters failed to score for the first time in eleven games in a row.
The home team started the game strongly and took command right from the start. The guests from Linz can celebrate for the first time in the fifth minute. With a bit of luck, the disc lands at Würschl, who hits it ice-cold from the right hash marks.

Linz’s goal comes too late

This means that VSV wins the duel between the two table neighbors and moves within one point of leaders Salzburg with 32 points. Linz slipped to fifth place with 28 points.
