The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, announced this Saturday that his party will not attend the tribute to the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic, called for next July 16, considering it “an exculpatory ceremony” of a “criminal” government.
During a pre-campaign rally in Vigo ahead of the Galician elections on July 12, the party president accused the Executive of Pedro Sánchez of using the victims as an “excuse” to celebrate this “exoneration” of his management, which is characterized by “hiding the real number” of deceased.
In addition, Abascal has disfigured the Government of “usurp the functions of His Majesty The King”, who is the one who should call an act of these characteristics, as explained.
