Volkswagen presented this week its new hybrid vehicle, the Tiguan eHybrid, which offers up to 50 kilometers of range.
Volkswagen has lifted the veil on its hybrid SUV, the Tiguan eHybrid, equipped with a heat engine and a rechargeable electric motor, ensuring a power of 85 kW, thus offering a maximum speed of 130 km / h, with autonomy of 50 kilometers.
The German brand has announced three versions of the new Tiguan: the classic, with thermal engine, a sporty R version, and an eHybrid version. The latter incorporates a petrol engine of 150 horsepower, and an electric motor of 85 kW, equivalent to 116 horsepower. Therefore, the two engines represent a considerable power, which explains the maximum speed of the vehicle of 130 km / h.
Volkswagen has still not revealed the maximum power for charging, but has presented the various equipment that will be present in the Tiguan, namely an MIB3 on-board computer, Travel Assist driving assistance and audio items designed by Harman Kardon .
The Volkswagen eHybrid SUV will not be marketed until 2021, until the German dealership regains its strength after the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
