The main characters of the Schalko novel do not have a long life: “* January 15, 2020 + April 25, 2020” is written on the gravestones that can now be found in Vienna’s cityscape. At the beginning of the season, the Volkstheater had advertised the premiere of Heimito from Doderer’s novel “Die Merowinger oder Die totale Familie” with a mobile anger room in the MuseumsQuartier.
Now the agency DMB has worked hard again and designed five tombstones of protagonists from the dark crime novel, which the director Alexander Charim premieres.

QR code on tombstone
In addition to the life data of Ferdinand Krutzler & Co., there is also a QR code on the marble tombstone, which makes the figures speak with the help of augmented reality. Voices from the grave, so to speak. The advertising media for the piece, which can be seen in Hall E until April 25, will be displayed at the MuseumsQuartier, in front of the Karlskirche, in the Prater and in the Donaucity.
