Reykjavik: Lava flowed into the town of Grindavik after two volcanic eruptions in Iceland. Many houses were burnt in the city.

A volcano on the Reykjans peninsula erupted early Sunday morning and sent lava pouring into the city.
The entire city has been evacuated. After the eruption of the volcano in December, the lava flowed into the city of Gindavik, despite the presence of defensive walls in some places.

The main road into the city was destroyed by lava flows. The President of Iceland said that we must overcome this crisis together and show mercy to those who cannot stay at home. He said he hoped the situation would calm down and cautioned as anything could happen.
