Jakarta

A vocational school student in South Nias Regency (Nisel), North Sumatra (North Sumatra), named Yaredi Nduru (17), fell ill and died after allegedly being abuse by his school principal, SZ (37). SZ also opened his voice to give an explanation.

Reported detik North Sumatra, Thursday (18/4/2024), in a written statement SZ submitted to the North Sumatra Education Service, the event began on Friday morning (15/3). At that time, he was contacted by the Secretary of the Siduaori District Chief, Yasozisokhi Nduru, because there was a problem with students doing Industrial Work Practices (Prakerin) at the district chief’s office. It is known that the victim also participated in an internship at the sub-district office.

“Mr. Siduaori, the Secretary of State contacted me, asking if students doing internships could be asked to work or not. I answered suddenly yes, Mr. Secretary of State, please understand that our students are doing internships. Then, Mr. The Secretary of State replied, if you do not want to be led, it is better to pick up the students today, Monday, March 18, 2024,” the SZ statement said.

Then, on March 16, SZ ordered one of the teachers to gather all the intern students in class XI. After gathering, SZ entered the room.

Then, SZ asked if there were any obstacles while doing the internship. At that time, all students responded that there was no problem. SZ asked this question many times, and the students’ answers remained the same.

After that, SZ specifically asked the students doing internships at the Siduaori Sub-District office. At that time, the students replied that there was no problem.

“Finally I told them to come forward, especially for the male interns who were placed in the sub-district office. After five of them came forward, I asked them again if there was a problem, they replied no sir. I asked again, then they answered Yes, after hearing the answer, I clenched my fist while pushing against Siduaori is angry for no reason?” asked SZ.

One of the students answered SZ’s question by saying that the head of the Siduaori sub-district was indeed crazy. At that, the student smiled and was followed by other students in the room.

SZ then pushed the students’ heads while saying ‘it was wrong to laugh’. After that, SZ ordered three female students who were also interns at the sub-district office to come forward. SZ asked what mistakes the female students made. The three students also told the mistakes they made.

Then, SZ appealed to the students to work well during internships and maintain the good name of the school. Then SZ left the room because there was an incident.

After that, on March 18, 2024, the students, including the victim, returned to work at the sub-district office. At that time, the Secretary of State asked about the health of the children.

The students said they were in good shape. Same the next day.

However, on March 20-22, Yaredi did not return to the sub-district office without any clear information. Likewise, on March 23, Yaredi did not go to school.

Then, on the evening of March 24, Yaredi came to his friend’s house to play games from 21.00 WIB to 05.00 WIB. After that, at about 05.30 WIB, the victim went to the Tetegewo Megalith Site with the excuse of wanting to get some clothes.

In the evening, the victim’s friend called the victim and asked why he was not present for an internship. At that time, Yaredi said he felt feverish. Also, the next day, the victim admitted that he had a headache. Then, from March 27-30, Yaredi’s position was uncertain.

“On the evening of March 31, the family called one of the teachers to tell them that Yaredi was sick because he was beaten by the principal,” he said.
