Vivo V30 Series: Specs, Price, and ZEISS Camera Features Revealed by CNN Indonesia

vivo V30 Series, which consists of the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro, was officially released in Indonesia, Wednesday (28/2). Check out the superior specs and price.

Vivo presents these two new products by highlighting Indonesian nature. This cellphone, which comes in three color variants, is inspired by the Indonesian landscape.

“Using the equatorial emerald theme, Vivo wants to highlight Indonesia’s nature which stretches from Sabang to Merauke. Moving from this theme, we are proud to introduce three color variants where each Vivo V30 Series color is inspired by the Indonesian landscape,” said Vivo Indonesia PR Manager Alexa Tiara at the launch event in Jakarta, Wednesday (28/2).

“The first is equatorial green which is inspired by the natural beauty of Indonesia. Next is puspa white which depicts the beauty of typical Indonesian flowers. And finally volcanic black which is inspired by Indonesian soil,” he added.

Both models have body dimensions of 164.36 × 75.1 × 7.45 mm. On the screen, both are equipped with a 6.78 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K (2800×1260) with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The V30 and V30 Pro are also equipped with the same battery, namely 5,000 mAh with support for 80W fast charging. This charging is claimed to be able to fully charge the battery in just 43 minutes.

Both models are also equipped with IP54 certification which makes them splash and dust resistant. Vivo also provides a wet water display feature where the screen remains sensitive even if the user’s hands are wet.

Even though they have many similarities, including color variants, the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro have several different innards.

Vivo V30 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with memory configurations of 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB.

Meanwhile, the Vivo V30 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset with only one variant, namely 12/512 GB.

On the camera side, the V30 has a 50 MP OIS main rear camera and a 50 MP ultra wide camera.

Meanwhile, the V30 Pro has a 3 camera configuration, namely a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX920 sensor, a 50 MP wide angle camera, and a 50 MP portrait camera with a Sony IMX816 sensor.

The V30 Pro camera system is supported by software from ZEISS.

“We present the V30 Pro with ZEISS, the aim is to present this is the most premium V Series. This is the best portrait photography experience brought by the V Pro,” said Fendy Tanjaya, Vivo Indonesia Product Manager at the same event.

On the front, both phones offer a 50MP AF camera.
