“If in February in Ukraine there will be two weeks of frosts up to 15 degrees, then there really will be problems. But they would have been three years ago and ten years ago,” Vitrenko said.
He also noted that all world energy systems depend on the temperature in winter.
The chairman of the board of NAK Naftogaz of Ukraine added that now the storage facilities in Ukraine have more gas reserves than usual.
“We now have more gas reserves in storage than usual. We forecast, for example, on January 1, 3% more gas reserves than on average in 2015-2019. Coal, yes, critically small reserves, less than usual, but now there is a lot of coal.” , – said Yuri Vitrenko.
