Vitrenko commented on the information that members of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine received a total of UAH 610.1 million of remuneration for 2020
He stated that it is the responsibility of the supervisory board – “to explain why he gave such salaries and bonuses to the members of the Naftogaz board, to explain why, despite the restrictions (the same” covid “), the salaries of the board members were not reduced, but increased.”
Vitrenko did not confirm or deny the information that the annual salary of his predecessor as head of the board of Naftogaz Andrey Kobolev was UAH 21 million.
“I don’t want to talk about any specific amounts of Kobolev now. Honestly, I don’t even remember. Personally, the salary does not bother me. But the total amount that he received after his dismissal … He received real money. He came to the bank accordingly and received all the money. Although created the impression among journalists that he did not receive money… This is a separate situation, “Vitrenko said.
February 2020 “Ukrainian news” published a copy of the contract of the chairman of NJSC Naftogaz. It follows from the document that Kobolev’s salary is UAH 1.041 million per month, and the payment of monthly bonuses and other remuneration must occur in accordance with the collective agreement.
April 13 Verkhovna Rada made changes to the state budget and during the quarantine limited salaries to officials. According to the law, from April 2020 until the end of quarantine wage officials, deputies, judges, prosecutors and NBU employees should not exceed 10 times the minimum wage established on January 1, 2020, that is, UAH 47 thousand. After that, the supervisory board of the NAC instructed the board of the company limit the salaries of the board and the remuneration of the members of the supervisory board.
In April, Kobolev said that he received 47 thousand hryvnyas of salary. Back in March 2019, the then head of the NAC board said that his salary is high by Ukrainian standards – “more than seven digits to the point”.
Vitrenko for the first six months of 2020 declared UAH 285 million salary in Naftogaz… Last year he served as executive director of the company and completed his work at NAK in mid-July.
