Visit of CFAA Mulhouse: “With craftsmanship, I ensure my future”

Tuesday, November 16, Alain Charrier, sub-prefect of Mulhouse, visited the Training Center for Craft Apprentices (CFAA) in Mulhouse,
in the company of the heads of the Alsace chamber of trades, the Pôle emploi Grand Est and the Sémaphore association.

The CFAA de Mulhouse welcomes 800 learners, 22% more than the previous year.
It offers complete courses for vocational training:

A work-study program that combines theoretical training and immersion in the life of the company, to acquire, under the status of employee, a diploma AND professional training.

On an area of 6000 m2, the CFAA provides modern technical platforms, equipped with recent professional equipment to prepare future employees in the craft industry or even future business leaders in the craft sector for success.

A “wall of champions”, honoring all the Best apprentices of France as well as the national gold medalists at the Olympiads of the automotive pole since 2003, is exhibited at the Training Center for Craft Apprentices (CFAA) in Mulhouse.
In the automotive sector, the CFAA de Mulhouse is the most successful establishment in France, with 42 young people awarded on the wall.

To encourage the recruitment of young people, the aid scheme for the hiring of apprentices provided for in Plan # 1jeune1solution is extended until June 30, 2022 : € 5,000 for the recruitment of a work-study student under 18 and up to € 8,000 for a work-study student over 18.
