The healthcare sector is demonstrating today at the Malieveld in The Hague, but without healthcare workers. They stay away because of the corona measures. Instead, hundreds of pairs of shoes have symbolically been put on the grass.
The protest ‘More than applaus’, organized by unions and left-wing parties, takes place largely online. Politicians give speeches from a glass house on the Malieveld.
