Virgil van Dijk and Lieke Martens follow in Edgar Davids’ footsteps | Football

sport">More than 21 years ago, during the European Championship of 2000, Davids could be admired in the gigantic building in Rotterdam. Martens can still remember that well. “As a little girl of seven years old, I would never have dreamed of standing there myself. That makes me very proud and shows the role women’s football plays today.”
