Investigated by the TNI Puspom

The head of the TNI Intelligence Center (Kapuspen) Major General TNI Nugraha Gumilar said that the Military Police Center or Puspom TNI was investigating the case of the Fortuner driver with TNI service plates immediately.

Nugraha said, based on the results of the initial investigation of the viral video, the TNI Puspom had checked the database of vehicle registration numbers at the Denma TNI Headquarters.

In addition, Nugraha said, Puspom TNI had also checked the database system of the Korlantas Regiden National Police Headquarters.

The record number is registered in the name of Asep Adang

From the results of the investigation, Nugraha followed, the Fortuner number plate used by the man named owner Asep Adang.

“Then it was discovered that (Asep Adang) was a retired Pati officer,” Nugraha said when contacted Tempo on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Asep Adang is a retired TNI AU officer with the ultimate rank of Air Marshal TNI. He retired in 2020 with his last post as Chief Secretary (Sestama) of the National Anti-Terrorist Organization (BNPT). Adang is a 1985 graduate of the Air Force Academy (AAU) of the Aviation Corps.
