Viral posting about two Ukrainian drivers. The emotional gesture they had towards a Romanian colleague

Ilie Matei, the truck driver known on social networks as “The Man of the Roads”, told on Facebook the moment he met the two drivers Ukrainian.

The Romanian tells the story that the two Ukrainians offered him coffee and even invited him to dinner and, out of their little ones, they insisted on eating with them, but not before thanking the Romanian, on behalf of the Ukrainian people.

“I would have said it was a day like any other, but it wasn’t like that.

After a night behind the wheel of the pan, at 5.30 in the morning I parked in Berlin.

The only free space was between two trucks from Poland.

Now we all know that Polish boys are ok on the roads, but on weekends they stick the flag in a few beer cans and become free citizens to express themselves and box.

That’s it, I left a lever and a piece of board at hand in case I need anesthesia for the wound and I went to sleep.

Around 11, voices were still chirping by the cabin.

I open the curtain and see these 2 preparing lunch like 5-star parking kitchen chefs.

Okay, in the parking lot we give the Michelin stars according to the brand of tires and the head that hits the first curb, not for taste.

Many times you don’t even know what you ate, it depends on how deep the brandy was at home.

With that sweaty Klingon face I look at these and think:

Kind of awful, these aren’t Poles cooking outside, these are another nation, but which one?

I make contact and realize that I’m not from DB or Ag because I had diesel intact.

One of the kids tells me:

Hello Rumania

I scan the future suitor of the lever well if he becomes naughty and with that face of leavened cake I answer:

Health….

coffee mate??

This is too polite and he walks around in boxers …. hmm, he wants to put me on the list

I initially refuse, but then he comes with a plastic cup and puts half of it on me.

Come on, he got rid of the lever for a moment, but I was curious

Poland ??

Aaaa, no…Ukraine

Ooo, forța Ucraina, good job guys !!

That’s all I had ….

The other one who spoke good English comes and says to me:

Romania, thank you for ospitality !

Thank you for everyting !

Romania and Poland our brothers! Romania and Poland help our brothers, thank you Romania … thank you … has repeated this thing a few times

It was the most sincere thank you I felt to the last hair ….

Well, I got goosebumps …. I didn’t know what to answer and I went down ..

I asked them how they were able to get out of Ukraine and they said that for drivers it is possible, harder but possible.

The people in their little ones, that they were frying some potatoes and some eggs insisted on eating with them … they didn’t leave me until I tasted them.

After about 2 hours they came and asked me if it bothers me to start the engine because it’s very hot and they don’t have a parking climate. the moon that doesn’t even greet you being the same nation with them.

Each of these people, each of us by the nature of this job that takes us through so many foreign countries we become ambassadors of our country.

The ordinary people we have contact with will perceive us as a nation exactly as we behave around them in the country.

It didn’t matter that that coffee was a long juice and I don’t eat much toast, the meal they offer beats for me all the restaurants with staif in which I ate well-cooked food with fake people because it came from the heart, like a song that penetrates you.

I don’t deserve their gratitude because I didn’t do anything for her, on the contrary, I don’t even know what reaction I would have if I were in their position, but that will remain imprinted on me for a long time, because these two kids are those ambassadors that I would like them for us as a country, not like some who, like Nadlac, break the country of origin in sex and have only bad words about people and places of birth.

Have a weekend!

We only have each other on the roads! “, Ilie Matei wrote on Facebook.
