However, in recent days it has been possible to discover a fact that has left more than one open-mouthed, and that is that despite the popularity of this series, very few fans knew of the existence of the Chapter 22, which is cataloged as the “lost episode” of Pataclaun.

When the existence of this chapter went viral, user Sebastián Lindo Azañero managed to upload the entire video to YouTube. The material would have been collected from a VHS recording.

In this episode, Monchi generates an addiction to television, so the other characters such as Wendy, Queca, Tony, Gonzalete and Machín, try to make her get away from this situation. All the members of the cast intervene on the television in the house to recreate the content that she should see.
This episode would have aired on April 26, 1988; however, the channel decided to withdraw it due to the severe criticism made in it of television at that time.
It is necessary to indicate that in said chapter, Queca mentions the content that the Peruvians had to do in those years – regime of Alberto Fujimori– and the effects that these caused in the population precisely to distract them from the political events that occurred at the same time.
