A viral post on related social media tariffs at the motorway tollbooth (GT) Coconut ivory. The Toyota Avanza, which should be subject to the Class I vehicle tariff, is subject to the Class II tariff instead.
The incident occurred on Monday (19/9) around 08:45 WIB. One driver complained that the Avanza he was driving was subject to category II fares, which are supposed to be Gologan I.
“For friends entering Kelapa Gading Toll Road, be careful, pay attention to the cost of the ticket. Adjust the cost according to the class. The Avanza car is included in the class II fare,” said the man in a video recording on social media.

In this regard, the manager Kelapa Gading toll road, PT Jakarta Tollroad Development (JTD) opened its voice. PT JTD Jaya Pratama apologized.
“For the above incident, we understand the inconvenience experienced by road users. For this reason, PT JTD Jaya Pratama as manager of Kelapa Gading-Pulogebang Toll Road apologizes for the inconvenience encountered by road users.” , JTD’s statement said via Instagram Story, Wednesday (9/21/2022).
PT JTD stated that there was no intentional element in the incident. It was purely a system error.
“This incident was not intentional on our part, but it was a classification failure on the part of the system due to the sensitivity of the class censorship,” he added.
PT JTD said he checked. There is two accidents experienced by road users.
“Through the checks we carried out, there were two mismatch incidents which were subsequently handled and the fare difference money was returned per class,” he said.
To anticipate a similar situation, PT JTD will improve the reliability of the transaction equipment system and the rapid handling of SOPs.
