Violent ‘the Batman’ trailer features Robert Pattinson as Gotham’s vengeful superhero

DC has saved the best for last in a day packed with presentations of his upcoming superhero movies. From the expected Snyder Cut from ‘Justice League’ until the ‘The Suicide Squad’ de James Gunn, without forgetting de ‘Wonder Woman 1984’. However, they know what the jewel in the crown is and that’s why the DC FanDome has come to an end with the presentation of the hard-hitting first trailer of ‘The Batman’.

A superhero in training

‘The Batman’ will involve the presentation of Robert pattinson as the beloved DC superhero and apparently in this preview we are going to play a very tortured version of the character. It was already commented that trauma who suffers from the death of his parents is going to play an essential role and we will also see a first-time version of the character who at the moment is more feared than admired by the inhabitants of Gotham.

We have many reasons to trust the film, because behind it we have a Matt Reeves fresh out of the ‘Planet of the Apes’ franchise, for which he directed his wonderful last two installments to date.

In addition, the cast is truly luxurious, since in addition to being Pattinson’s return to a great production, something he had been avoiding since the end of The Twilight Saga, we also find actors of the stature of Zoë Kravitz (Catwoman), Paul Dano (Riddle), Jeffrey Wright (James Gordon), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone), Andy Serkis (Alfred Pennyworth), Colin Farrell (Penguin), Peter Sarsgaard or Jayme Lawson, Little joke.

By the way, if you have doubts about where ‘The Batman’ fits in the DC Extended Universe, the answer is that it is not located in the same universe as films like ‘The man of steel’ The ‘Aquaman’. This is something that has confirmed DC producer Walter Hamadaas the company wants to focus on making good individual films rather than trying to force it all together. A wise decision, I wish they had made it earlier.

The premiere of ‘The Batman’ is scheduled for October 1, 2021. Of course, the coronavirus pandemic caused a delay in filming, so don’t be surprised that it ends up being delayed …
