Vincent Van Gogh deeply admired Japanese prints.

As part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Pokémon collection was inaugurated.

Therefore, they had a collaboration and the exhibition, which opened recently, features six unique paintings that fuse the world of Pokémon with the famous masterpieces of Vincent Van Gogh.

According to a museum article, Van Gogh deeply admired Japanese prints, which inspired him in their use of strong colors, everyday themes, and attention to detail in nature.
