Maverick Vinales emerge victorious in the opening race MotoGP 2021. Rider Yamaha outperformed Johann Zarco and Francesco Bagnaia at MotoGP Qatar.
MotoGP Qatar took place at the Losail circuit, Monday (29/3/2021) early morning WIB. Four Ducati riders sped after the start, led by Francesco Bagnaia and followed by Jack Miller, Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin.
Vinales, who finished the first lap in sixth position, slowly improved his position until he took the lead in the 15th lap. This position is maintained until the race is over.
There was a fierce battle going on for position 2-3. Zarco had finished second, then overtaken by world champion Joan Mir.
But in the end, Mir failed to get on the podium. After the final corner, he went wide while Zarco and nearby Bagnaia raced to take the 2-3 position.
Maverick Vinales also emerged as champion at MotoGP Qatar, followed Johann Zarco and Francesco Bagnaia.
