Village community offers a party atmosphere and music with “Bunter Abend”.

There should be a “colorful evening” with a diverse music program and a party atmosphere. Those responsible for the Hünsborn village community association are certain of this. Numerous Hünsborn clubs will take part in this.

Hünsborn – Since last year, Rainer Wörder has been responsible for the fortunes of the Hünsborn village community association as the first chairman. Since the realignment of the club, he has been assisted by Conny Morbach, Michael Schneider, Ivonne Meigies, Hermann Wurm, Rüdiger Koch, Jochen Fischer and Joachim Bruch.

According to the first chairman, the association would like to act as a link between the more than 30 local associations. In addition, they want to be responsible for the organization of old and new event formats.

The preservation and use of the village community hall (DGH) Hünsborn (built in 1996) is also important to the association. What could be more obvious than to set up a benefit event, the proceeds of which go to the urgently needed renovation measures at the local multi-purpose hall.

The association not only invites all Hünsborn citizens to the “Colourful Evening” in the parlor of the village on Saturday, February 11th. Everyone is welcome who wants a colorful music and party evening. Posters were also distributed beyond the community of Wenden in the neighboring Siegerland.

Fifteen of the more than thirty local clubs will take part in the event. In addition to the Musikverein Hünsborn, all of the Hünsborn choirs and all the “Tanzmäuse” groups can be heard and seen on stage. “Other clubs work in the background and take part in the catering or the sale of tickets,” says Rainer Wörder on the project.

Following the program designed by the local clubs, which has the motto “Music and singing can Hünsborn”, the cover band “!NTACT”, founded in 2019, guarantees the best party atmosphere. Not only rock and pop fans get their money’s worth with the band, which is well-known in the local region. If you like it quieter, a kind of fair awaits you in the foyer of the DGH. Food and drinks are provided at various “fairground stalls”. At the “Losbude” you can buy tickets for a big raffle, where you can win cash and non-cash prizes, among other things, a sightseeing flight from the Hünsborn airfield.

The tombola – each ticket is also a lottery ticket – marks another highlight of the event. Tickets for the “Bunten Abend” – an event that is supported by the Sparkasse Olpe-Drolshagen-Wenden and is also part of the cultural program of the Wenden municipality – can be purchased in Hünsborn at the Sparkasse branch, the Alterauge butcher’s shop, in the inn “Zu den Drei Königen “, as well as from all board members of the village community association. Admission is on February 11th from 6 p.m. The village community association, which, like last year, organizes the St. Martin’s procession and also arranges appointments for the local associations, is hoping for a full house with a highly motivated board team.
