Viewing figures We Want More are taking a dive





Two weeks ago went with a lot of fuss We Want More starts on SBS6. Although this talent show barely distinguished itself from the competition, Talpa turned out to be a hit. The first episode attracted no less than 1,048,000 viewers, making it the fourth best viewed Friday evening program. Last week’s episode even drew 1,128.00 viewers. But this upward trend has now turned into a painful dive. According to the KijkOnderzoek foundation We Want More only 751,000 viewers last night. That is more than a quarter of a million less than the first two broadcasts!

And that while We Want More had a nice crowd puller last night: none other than Peter Lusse would make a comeback in the Friday night show. He made his breakthrough with the comedy cracker in the 90s Friends for life, but after that, this actor disappeared from the spotlights. Unfortunately for Lusse, his rendition of the musical classic ‘If I Were a Rich Man’ made little impression on the jury. Little comfort for the sympathetic comedian: fortunately few people have seen the failed audition …
