Twitter has been rumbling for weeks after Hunted has been on TV, but the pinnacle is only really reached when the duos Tim and Guus and Kelly and Romy manage to make it to the last episode. It’s up to them to reach the extraction point and stay out of the hands of the investigative services. That the duos didn’t even know what this point would be until the end of the episode isn’t the only thing wrong with the program, according to critical viewers.

The small mistakes – hunters who would be in Rotterdam, but drive off in Amsterdam – in the episodes are up to that point. However, one thing is clear: the finalists don’t stand a chance of reaching the finish line. Especially not if they have to escape through the same container they were dropped off in in the first episode. Let’s not forget that the hunters have put the license plate of the container in a system, with which they can track the container and thus immediately know where the duos are.
