The meeting brought together some 40 delegates and members of the APF Executive Committee, as well as representatives of the Francophone International Organization (OIF) and some other international organizations.
It also approved the report on the results of the four permanent committees: Politics; Parliamentary work; Cooperation and development; Education, Communication and Culture; and balance sheets of the Networks of Women and Young Parliamentarians of the APF, as well as regional ones (Asia-Pacific, Europe, America and Africa).
At the same time, he reviewed the political situation in the French-speaking community, ratified the Cooperation Agreements, and the preparations for the 46th General Assembly to be held online on January 28 and 29.
The APF Executive Board agreed to continue implementing, in addition, the Strategic Framework of the grouping for the period 2019-2022, which will focus on numerous priority themes of the OIF Program of Action, including the fight against terrorism and violence. extreme development, inclusive growth and development, improvement of public policies on education and teaching of the French language in the multilingual project of the Francophone Community, and the fulfillment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
