Dramatic deployment in the Hessian city of Groß-Gerau. During one operation, two police officers shot a man at least 15 times.
Groß-Gerau – Police operation late Tuesday evening, August 25, 2021, in the Hessian City of Groß-Gerau. Around 9 p.m. it was alerted the police to an altercation*. “In the course of the arrest, firearms were used against a suspect,” said the police on Tuesday evening.

The 39-year-old family man was so badly injured by the shots that he succumbed to his injuries despite being cared for by an emergency doctor.
A video that appeared on social media shows two police officers catching the Somali man. After a warning shot, the two officers fired at the man at least 15 times despite their hands raised. Only when he sags lifeless to the ground do the police stop the fire.

Before the fatal shots occurred, several people are said to have been seriously injured and taken to hospitals. The 39-year-old is said to have attacked his wife (40) and his mother-in-law with a knife in an apartment, reports the picture. When the knife man’s wife escaped from the apartment, the 39-year-old chased her and later injured two of the family’s neighbors.
