On Wednesday, February 1, the match of the 1/8 finals of the President’s Cup between Al-Ain and Khor-Fakkan took place. A game ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the wards of the Ukrainian specialist Rebrov.
Ukrainian winger Andriy Yarmolenko came out in the starting lineup of Al Ain and spent 90 minutes on the field. The only goal of the match was scored in the 73rd minute by midfielder Fala Walid.
After Walid’s goal, Al Ain’s head coach Sergey Rebrov very strange reacted to the goal. Apparently, the Ukrainian mentor was dissatisfied with the not very high-quality game of his team, which led to an unconvincing minimal victory.
Note that Yarmolenko also took part in this goal.
