A video composed of images recorded by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter space probe recreates in 4K quality the view that the US mission crew observed 50 years ago Apollo 13 on his failed trip to our natural satellite.
On that occasion, the explosion An on-board oxygen tank forced the moon landing to be aborted. While they were going around the moon, the astronauts remained eight minutes in total darkness until we see the illuminated side of the star emerge and then start the way back to Earth.
