Juarez City- The labor lawyer from Juarez, Susana Prieto, was arrested this afternoon in a well-known restaurant in Matamoros, Tamaulipas when she was accompanied by her daughter.
Prieto uploaded a video to social networks in which he relates that he was being surrounded by elements of the Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office by means of an arrest warrant issued against him for crimes in which society appears to be affected.
“I am surrounded by ministerial police here at the Geko restaurant, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, they are going to execute an arrest warrant against me,” she said in the video.
He said he had just come out of his office that was three blocks away.
The lawyer initially stated that she did not know the reason for her arrest, since she did not know what the charge against her was, but the “Governor of the State, I knew that sooner or later I was going to do this. I am being apprehended, ”she said.
In the copy of the arrest warrant that was delivered to him, he was notified that it was issued by the Control Judge of the Third Judicial Region of the Accusatory and Oral Criminal Justice System, attorney Rosalía Gómez Guerra, in whom the society.
In days past in this city, the lawyer led a group of workers from a harness company, which she said violated the national sanitary emergency decree.
On May 18, Governor Corral Jurado accused labor lawyers of “wanting to bring water to his mill” during the pandemic caused by the Coronavirus (Covid-19), for which he called on the Chihuahuas to “take care of the environment labor in the entity ”before what the litigation industry called.
In February 2019, a businessman from Tamaulipas expressed that another factor of concern was Susana Prieto Terrazas, a lawyer, originally from that city, known for initiating collective protests, between 2015 and 2016, in companies such as: Lexmark, Eaton, Foxconn, Commscope (ADC) and Johnson Controls.
According to newspaper reports, Prieto Terrazas has managed to collect from 30 to 50 percent of the liquidation of the thousands of workers who participated in strikes and who were dismissed.
“He abuses, many times he abuses people and takes from them 30 or up to 50 percent of the liquidation; besides, he takes a thousand pesos away from them. Susana Prieto is very organized.
“(The Matamoros companies are going to go, who do you think is going to keep 30 percent of the liquidation of the thousands of workers, as this lady who represents them and will mean a million dollars,” he assured.
