Video Shows Gameplay From Deleted Game Star Wars:1313 With Boba Fett – Gaming – .Geeks

Gameplay footage of the unreleased Star Wars: 1313 game has surfaced on YouTube. The video includes a chase scene. The game was supposed to be released in 2013, but development was halted after the acquisition of Lucasfilm.

The video is a compilation of clips that James Zachary posted on its site. Zachary was the head of the animation division at LucasArts, the developer of Star Wars: 1313. The videos are work-in-progress gameplaycaptures that show the game world and have to show how the player can interact with the game world in, for example, chase scenes.

In the first scene featured in The Vault’s compilation video, Boba Fett walks through a market area on Coruscant. This scene is mainly intended to set the mood and shows that the player could interact with the game world, for example pushing an alien against Fett.

The second scene is a bit more exciting and shows the player chasing someone. The character chasing Fett tries to thwart him by, for example, knocking over crates and barrels. This chase is a bit like a chase in Uncharted or some Assassin’s Creed games. Later on, shorter clips will come along showing the fight, shoot, and covershow animations.

Star Wars: 1313 was announced in 2012 and revolved around Boba Fett and the underworld of Coruscant. It should have been a third-person action game, but the development was discontinued in 2013 after LucasArts closed. Tweakers wrote 9.5 years ago a preview of the game. The first season of the is currently running Disney+-serie The Book of Boba Fett, the fifth episode of which was released on Wednesday.
