New York is sinking in the snow

When cars have to be towed in the midst of ever-increasing masses of snow, the US no longer speaks of a “winter wonderland”, but rather of a “bomb cyclone”, which in German means bomb cyclone. A cyclone in which barometric pressure drops rapidly, resulting in heavy rainfall and high winds, like here in New York State. The national weather service has issued a storm warning for the north coast. Large masses of snow can also be expected in the metropolis of New York City at the beginning of the weekend. Accuweather’s weather experts expect up to 15 centimeters of snow here. The storm should then move on to Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Up to 7.5 centimeters of snow can be expected.
