Eden Hazard took his football boots out of the attic again on Wednesday. The former Red Devil played a charity match in Paris alongside legends Didier Drogba, Didier Deschamps, Robert Pires and Samuel Eto’o. But it was French President Emmanuel Macron who stole the show.

The French president even turned out to be a goalscorer in the 5-3 win against Eto’o’s team and ex-Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger. Macron was allowed to aim for a penalty kick and kicked it in flawlessly with the inside of his foot. A little later he showed a less sporty side with a vicious tackle.
The match itself was played in aid of an association that supports children in hospital. The many stars ultimately raised an amount of 57,500 euros. Laurent Blanc and Jens Lehmann were also present.
